the machine.
4. Clean and maintain the machine before storage. Failure to correct a problem before operation
can cause malfunction in which you can be seriously hurt or killed.
5. Clean and grease the lawnmower carefully as described above under “LUBRICATION
INSTRUCTIONS”.
6. Carefully clean machine parts and accessories after each use (see Maintenance and cleaning
instructions). This will prevent the formation of mold.
7. Carefully remove any dry grass cuttings and excess grease which may have collected around
the engine, silencer, battery (if equipped) or fuel tank to prevent their catching fire the next
time the machine is used!
8. Slightly grease the cutting area to avoid corrosion.
9. Be careful not to bend or kink cables.
NOTE: When storing care should be taken to rust-proof the equipment. Using a light
oil or silicone, coat the equipment, especially all metal parts and all moving parts.
STORAGE OF BATTERY AND CHARGER (ONLY MODELS WITH
BATTERY STARTER)
• Store the accumulators charged to approximately 30% state in a dry and dustfree room,
protected from frost, at the ambient temperature ranging preferably from +10°C to +20°C.
• Charge the battery before storing. Store battery in dry, dark and thermally stable environment.
• Do not store the battery in direct sunlight.
• Do not store or use the battery in locations where the temperature may reach or exceed 50°C
(such as outside sheds or metal buildings in summer).
• When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from other metal objects like paper clips, coins,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects that can make a connection from one terminal
to another. Shorting the battery terminals together may cause burns or a fire.
• In case of long storage we recommend you to dismount, or at least disconnect battery.
• In case of long storage we recommend you recharge the battery every 3 months.
• Replace the battery (accumulator) for original one every 12 months, preferably do this before
the beginning of new season.
• Store the battery out of reach of unauthorized persons.
• Store the charger in a dry, clean and frost-protected place, out of reach of unauthorized persons.
TRANSPORTING
When moving the machine, the blades must be disengaged and the cutting deck
raised as high as possible.
• Disengage the blades before crossing surfaces other than grass.
• Ensure not to bend or damage the cutter when pushing the lawnmower over obstacles.
TRANSPORT ON THE TRAILER
Warning!!! Let the engine to cool down before transporting the machine.
The fuel tank must be empty. Spilled fuel or fuel vapor may ignite.
1. Empty the fuel tank before transporting the machine.
2. Empty the petrol tank with a suction pump. Start the engine and let it run until it has used
