Note: I
Using an incorrect type of oil can result in damage to the oil pump, bar and chain.
• Remove the oil tank neck cap (fig. 6) (b).
• Fill the oil to a maximum of 5 mm below the bottom of the neck.
• Do not overfill! Remove spilled oil before starting the engine.
• Put all tank and transport container caps back and tighten.
C For long-term storage of the chainsaw (more than 7 days) filled with chain bio-oil,
the unused oil must be removed from the tank and replaced with mineral oil and
the chainsaw must be run for a while until all bio-oil is sprayed into the bar. Bio-oil
degrades quickly and can damage the lubrication pump during long-term storage
in the tank!
C The saws may drip oil.
Remember that saw the use of drip oil and that oil can leak, especially when lying on side or
vertically. This is a normal phenomenon, caused by necessity of vent oil tank and not cause for
complaint. Because each saw is the belt checked and tested with oil, through the empty remain
in the tank a little rest, which escapes during transport.
Before displacing a saw we recommend to leave a minimal amount of oil in the tank and put
aside the saw to container for capturing low oil (example a tray with a raised edge). The spilled
oil must be disposed ecologically.
Note: I
Learn to add chain oil always when adding fuel. It will not happen that you forget to
refill the oil and run out of it while working. The tanks are sized so that the chain oil should
be used up at roughly the same time as the fuel.
FUEL STORAGE
• Do not store fuel mixed as the mixed fuel quickly degenerates. Always prepare only
the amount of fuel that can be used up while working.
• Only store petrol and oils in canisters and containers designed for this purpose. Using other
containers may cause petrol contamination or explosion.
• Never store fuel near stoves, ovens, water heaters with pilot lights or any other devices that
may cause sparks (relays, bells, etc.).
• Store only the minimum amount of fuel which will be used within 14 days. Do not use fuel
older than 14 days.
IN CASE OF STORING PETROL OR A DEVICE WITH FUEL IN THE
FUEL TANK
• Allow the machine to cool down before it is stored in a confined space.
• Store separately from ovens, stoves, water heaters or other devices with a pilot light or other
sources of igniting. They can ignite petrol vapours.
ENGINE OPERATION
BEFORE THE FIRST STARTING
Remember to use fuel with higher oil content!
The first starting of a new or long-unused chainsaw can be problematic. Therefore, do not
succumb to emotions and do not use brute force in case of immediate failure!
