• Do not rotate the L, H and T nozzles more than half a revolution back/forth. Never
try to adjust beyond this range. Never use brute force.
PROCEDURE
• Use the L nozzle to set the quick response to gas addition and low rotation speed. The engine
must not "suffocate" or die when the gas is added quickly.
• Use the T nozzle to set idle running so that the chain does not move while the engine is
running spontaneously or the engine does not die.
• The H nozzle is not usually needed to be adjusted at all at normal altitudes. Moreover,
wrong adjustment without the tachometer could cause permanent damage to the engine in
case of this nozzle setting. We recommend that you do not interfere with the setting
of the H nozzle.

When adjusting the carburettor, the chain can spontaneously spin. There is a risk of
cuts! Other persons and animals must be at a safe distance during the carburettor
adjustment.
CORRECTLY ADJUSTED CARBURETTOR
- The chainsaw starts without any major difficulties.
- The reaction to a sharp push when the engine is heated is immediate.
- The chain does not spin at idle running and the engine does not die.
- The clutch does not slip in the cut with full gas.
CHAIN TENSIONING ADJUSTMENT
Incorrect chain tensioning results in increased wear or damage to both the chain and the bar. If
the chain is free, there is also a risk of its slipping and a risk of injury.
A properly tensioned chain is not slack on the bottom of the bar and moves freely on it.

Use gloves!
• Loosen the clutch cover nuts with the enclosed pipe wrench.
• Using a chain tension screw, tighten the bar so that the chain is fully tightened (fig. 5).
• Loosen the chain tension screw to the desired level. Hold the bar slightly raised by the tip.
Tighten the clutch cover.
• Check the tightening.
CAUTION! A
Check the chain tension during work; always when changing fuel at the very least.
A new chain becomes longer faster by use.
