1
Control pushbutton
The M FOUR DSP provides 10 internal memory lo-
cations for sound setups. The Control pushbutton
allows the user to switch between two memory po-
sitions. These can be dened in the DSP PC-Tool.
1. Setup switch: Press Control pushbutton for
1 second. The memory locations one and two are
dened ex works. Switching is indicated by a sin-
gle red ash of the Status LED. To switch between
all internal memory locations, optional accessories
like the DIRECTOR display remote control or WIFI
CONTROL are required.
2. Device reset: Press pushbutton for ve seconds.
This completely erases the internal memory and is
indicated by a continuous red glowing and constant
green ashing of the Status LED.
Attention: After erasing the setups from memory
the M FOUR DSP will not reproduce any audio out-
put until the device is updated via the DSP PC-Tool
software.

Rem. Out
We strongly recommend to use this outputs for turn-
ing on / o󰀨 additional ampliers that are connected
to the Line Output of the HELIX M FOUR DSP. This
is essential to avoid any interfering signals. This
output is activated automatically as soon as the
booting process of the DSP is completed. Addition-
ally this output will be turned o󰀨 during the “Power
Save Mode” or a software update process.

Highlevel Input
6-channel highlevel loudspeaker input to connect
the amplier directly to loudspeaker outputs of
OEM / aftermarket radios or OEM ampliers that do
not have any pre-amplier outputs. Input sensitivity
is factory-set to 20 Volts.
It is possible to optimally adapt the input sensitivity
to the signal source using the DSP PC-Tool soft-
ware. The control range of the Highlevel Input is
5 V - 20 V RMS. The function can be found in the
“Signal management” tab of the DCM menu: “Main
Input → Input Gain”.
Important: It is mandatory to properly adapt
the input sensitivity of the M FOUR DSP to the
signal source before rst use. Disregarding this
may cause severe damage to the amplier.
Attention: Solely use the pluggable screw-termi-
nals for the highlevel connectors which are included
in delivery or an optional available cable harness
from the HELIX accessory assortment!

Line Input
6-channel pre-amplier input to connect signal
sourc es such as radios. Input sensitivity is
factory-set to 4 Volts.
It is possible to optimally adapt the input sensitivity
to the signal source using the DSP PC-Tool soft-
ware. The control range of the Line Input is 1 V -
4 V RMS. The function can be found in the “Signal
management” tab of the DCM menu: “Main Input →
Input Gain”.
Important: It is mandatory to properly adapt
the input sensitivity of the M FOUR DSP to the
signal source before rst use. Disregarding this
may cause severe damage to the amplier.

USB Input
Connect your personal computer to the
M FOUR DSP using the provided USB cable. The
required PC software to congure this amplier can
be downloaded from the Audiotec Fischer website
www.audiotec-scher.com.
Please note: It is not possible to connect any USB
storage devices.

Status LED
The Status LED indicates the operating mode of the
DSP.
Green: DSP is ready for operation.
