If it is, there may be an open circuit or the thermal reset button on the rear of the pump motor may be tripped. To address this, plug the power cord into the receptacle. Also, check the breakers inside the fryer. If the thermal reset button is tripped, allow time for the motor to cool, and then use a screwdriver to press hard against the button until it clicks.

Then, reset the high limit by pressing down and releasing the raised side of the switch for the vat that is not operating. The switches are located behind the right door. If the high limit does not reset, the high limit must be replaced.
