ake sure that the Side stand indicator-M
side stand is up. If it is down kept when
ignition key is in “ON” position the side
stand indicator will glow on the (page 33)
speedometer panel.

Tyres-Check condition and pressure
(pages 22).

Steering-Check for smooth action for easy
maneuverability.
•
Fitting & fasteners-Check & tighten if
necessary.
•
Lamps and horn-Check that headlamp,
position lamp, tail/stop lamp, turn signal
lamps, indicators and horn function
properly.
•
Programmed FI malfunction indicator
lamp (MIL)-When the ignition switch is
turned “ON” the programmed-FI
malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) glows
continuously until the vehicle starts.
•
i3s system-Make sure that i3s system is
functional properly (page 26).
•
i3s switch-Make sure whether the i3s
switch is in “ON” or “OFF” position
(page 26).
•
Throttle-Check for smooth opening and
full closing in all steering positions.
•
Engine oil level-Add engine oil if required
(page 61 ). Check for leaks.
•
Rear view mirrors-Ensure that the rear
view mirrors gives a good view of the rear
when you are sitting on the vehicle.
•
Fuel level-Ensure sufficient fuel is available
in your fuel tank for journey. Fuel level
segment should be above one segment
blinking (page 16). Check for leaks.
•
Front and Integrated brake-Check
operation and if necessary, adjust free play
(pages 18).
