Remember that your Authorised Hero
MotoCorp workshop knows your vehicle
best and is fully equipped to maintain and
repair it.
To ensure best quality and reliability, it is
recommended to use Hero MotoCorp
genuine parts for repair and replacement.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Let the engine and exhaust system cool
before touching.
To prevent the vehicle from falling over,
park it on a firm, level surface, on the main
stand.
Make sure the engine is turned “OFF”
before you begin any maintenance or
repair. This will help eliminate several
potential hazards:
Carbon monoxide poisoning from
engine exhaust.
Burns from hot parts.
Be sure there is adequate ventilation
whenever you start the engine.
Injury from moving parts.
Do not run the engine unless instructed
to do so.
Read the instructions before you begin and
make sure you have the tools and skills
required.
Be sure that the rear brake is locked by lever
lock before running the engine, while the
vehicle is parked on the main stand. This will
prevent the rear wheel from rotating and
avoid the possibility of someone being
injured from contacting the wheel.
To reduce the possibility of a fire or
explosion, be careful when working around
petrol or batteries. Use only nonflammable
solvent, not petrol, to clean parts. Keep
cigarettes, sparks and flames away from
the battery and all fuel-related parts.
