CAUTION

Pre oam f element
The pre foam element should be serviced at
regular intervals . Service more (page 55)
frequently when riding in unusually wet or
dusty areas.
Cleaning
•
Wash the pre foam element in kerosene.
•
Spread 5ml (4 to 5 drops) of SAE 90
grade at different locations on pre foam
element.
•
Replace air cleaner element once in every
15000 km or early replacement may be
required when riding in dusty areas.
•
element At 12000 km inspect if air cleaner
(viscous type) is choked. If found choked,
replace the air cleaner element to keep the
engine healthy.
•
Replace pre foam element or viscous element
at any point of time, if found damage.
NOTE
•
Squeeze it in a manner so that oil will spread
on complete surface of pre foam element.
Installation
•
Install the air cleaner element holder
component (new, in case of replacement).
•
Install the air cleaner cover.
