NOTE
If "Spark knock" or "pinking" occurs at a
steady engine speed under normal load,
change petrol brand. If the same still persists,
consult your Authorised Distributor/Dealer.
Failure to do so is considered misuse, and
damage caused by misuse is not covered under
Hero MotoCorp warranty policy.
NOTE
Apply the brake several times and check for
free wheel rotation after the brake lever is
released.
2
NOTE
Tightening position of the fuel filler cap can
change upto 20° (clockwise) from the
standard position based on the variable
tightening efforts done by different users.
Do not overfill the tank. There should be no
fuel (3) in the filler neck (4).
After refueling, be sure to tighten the fuel filler
cap firmly by turning it clockwise. Make sure
the arrow mark (2) on the fuel filler cap is
aligned towards the front side of the vehicle.
We recommend that you use unleaded petrol
because the muffler in the vehicle is fitted with
a catalytic convertor, it also produces lesser
deposits in engine and on spark plug, which
extends the life of exhaust system and other
components.
