Headlamp focus adjustment
Headlamp is factory preset. However in case
of adjustment required, please follow the steps
as given below:
Ÿ Headlamp adjustment is done by the
headlamp adjusting bolt (1) located below
headlamp.
Ÿ Park the vehicle on level ground.
Ÿ Adjust the headlamp beam vertically by
loosening the bolt (1) and move the
headlamp unit forward and backward for
correct focus adjustment.
Ÿ Tighten the bolt after adjustment.
Ÿ Turn the adjusting nut in direction (A) to
advance switch timing or in direction (B) to
retard switch timing.

An improperly adjust headlamp may blind
oncoming rider/driver or it may fail to light
the road for a safe distance.
Catalytic converter
This vehicle is equipped with a catalytic
converter in the muffler to meet the emission
norms.
