Application
The centrifuge is only designed for centrifuging substances and substance mixtures with
a density
of

g/ml. Through
the
generation
of
centrifugal force, they separate
substance mixtures or change their mixture ratio.
Safety instructions
•
The centrifuge is designed to the state of the art and is operationally reliable; however,
it can constitute
a
source
of
danger for the user or
a
third patty
if it is
used improperly
by untrained personnel or for purposes for which
it
was not designed.
•
Before starting the centrifuge, read the operating instructions carefully.
• In
addition to an operating and service manual and the binding regulations for accident
prevention, the recognized industrial regulations for safety and professional work must
be observed.
•
The operating and service manual must be supplemented by accident prevention and
environmental protection instructions based
on
national regulations prevailing
in the
country
of
the user.
•
Place the centrifuge on
a
sturdy base.
•
Load the centrifuge evenly.
• The
maximum speeds printed
on
rotors must not
be
exceeded.
•
Only use accessories for the centrifuge approved by the manufacturer.
•
Centrifuge vessels may only be filled to the maximum level stated by their manufactu-
rer.
• Do
not operate the centrifuge
in
explosion-hazard rooms.
•
If
the centrifuge
is
used
for
hazardous substances and substance mixtures
as
listed
in the accident prevention regulations, the operator shall take suitable steps to remain
within the regulations.
•
It
is not
permitted
to
operate this centrifuge using very corrosive substances which
could have
a
detrimental effect on mechanical rotor strength.
