Should corrosion occur

of
care,

manufacturer will
not
accept
any warranty claims.

Any centrifugal rotors showing evidence
of
significant corrosion
or
even mechanical

damage may not
be
used.
•
Repairs may only
be
performed
by
persons authorized
by
the manufacturer.
•
Before opening
the
housing, unplug the power cord from the mains socket.
•
Only use original spare parts and permitted original accessories.
• The
centrifuge
is
a
Group
3
device
in
compliance with
the
Medizinische Geratever-
ordnung (German Medical Device Ordinance).
It
complies with
the
"Gesetz uber
technische Arbeitsmittel" (Law concerning technical working devices) dated
24
June
1968 with
the
supplement
of 13
August 1979.
Commissioning
•
Place centrifuge
on a
firm surface
in a
suitable location.
•
Check whether the mains voltage
is
identical with the information on the nameplate.
•
Plug the power cord
to
the mains socket.
•
Turn mains switch into position
"I",
rotation indicator (function check) illuminates.
•
After rotation indicator has gone
off,
open cover by pulling
up
safety clamp.
This cover can
be
opened only,
if
the centrifuge
is
switched on and the rotor
at
a standstill.
If this
is
not possible,
see
section
on
"Emergency Release".
Before first operation of this centrifuge, remove transportation supports
(see instruction sheet). Keep transportation supports
and
original
packaging
in
a
safe place.
