ZENTRIFUGEN
Fitting
• Select rotor and mount
on
motor shaft. (Rotors
are
labelled with their respective
nominal speed).
The motor shaft driver pin must snap into the groove
at
the bottom
of
the rotor.
Tighten nut.
Check rotor for secure mounting
Emergency Release
•
If a
power cut
or
any other type
of
fault occurs on the centrifuge whilst
in
operation,
its locking system will remain blocked.
Open cover only when centrifuge has stopped!
• Pull up safety clamp.
• For emergency release purposes, there
is a

- Insert release pin E003 (supplied) into this bore until
it
reaches
its
stop position.
- Press cover downwards and simultaneously move release pin to the right, until the
locking mechanism

Centrifugation
of
Substances with
a
Density higher than 1.2 g/ml
Rotors
are
designed such that,
at
their respective rated maximum speed, they
are
capable of centrifugalizing substances with an average homogenous density
of
1.2 g/ml
maximum.
Substances with
a
higher density can only be centrifugalized
at
reduced speeds.
