Troubleshooting with the Error Message Table
Error Message Cause Solution

Flipper Jam/ Home
Error

A card has become
jammed in the Printer’s
Flipper Table.
The Flipper failed to
position properly while
aligning a card or flipping a
card.
Clear any cards in the Flipper Table
using the buttons to move the card
out. Resume printing.
• Reset the Printer and retry. If
problem persists call for technical
assistance.

No Flip Module

Request to print on 2

side
of card, but no Flipper is
installed.
If a Flipper Module is present,
ensure that the Print Both Sides
option in the Printer Driver is set
correctly.
• Install a Flipper module.

Check Lam Power

Lam is connected but not
powered.
Power off the Printer, power the
Laminator, and then power on the
Printer. A damaged Flipper board,
E-Card board, or EEPROM could
potentially result in this same error.

Lam Generic Error

Laminator firmware error
Cycle power and try again.
