• Place the gear shift in neutral before

ing the shallow water cruising system.
• Run the boat at the lowest possible
speed when using the shallow water
cruising system. The
tilt
lock
mecha-
nism does
not
work
while the shallow
water cruising system
is
being used.
Hitting an underwater obstacle
could
cause the outboard
motor
to

of
the water, resulting
in
loss
of
contro
l.
