Fire Source Detecon
The funcon is developed to detect the re source in the detecon area. If re sources are spoed
and the duraon reaches the seng, the re alarm will be triggered and a series of operaons will
be executed.
Before You Start
Note
Indoor Channel Blockage Detecon and On/O Work Detecon will be out of service when Fire
Source Detecon is enabled.
Steps
1.
Click
Conguraon → Event → Smart Event → Fire Source Detecon .
2.
Check Enable.
3.
Set
detecon area and disabled area.
1) Click Draw Detecon Area /Draw Disabled Area.
2) Le-click to draw a convex quadrilateral.
3) Repeat step a and step b to draw less than 4
detecon areas/disabled areas.
4) Oponal: You can edit the areas you drew as follows.

Hover mouse inside an area and drag to change its
locaon.
●
Hover mouse on the vertexes of an area and drag to adjust the their locaons.
●
Click Clear All to delete all areas exist.
Device will process smart
detecon and analysis on events in detecon areas and neglect
feedbacks from desabled areas.
4.
Set
detecon parameters.
Time Threshold(s)
If re sources are spoed and the duraon reaches the me seng, the re alarm will be
triggered.
Sensivity
The more sensive the detecng funcon is, the more easily the alarm will be triggered and
the more likely to misidenfy.
5.
Set arming schedule. See Set Arming Schedule .
6.
Set linkage method. See Linkage Method Sengs .
7.
Click Save.
Set
On/O Work Detecon
The funcon is developed to detect whether the sta are on duty. If the number of detected
persons in the zones does not reach the
sengs and the duraon reaches the me sengs, a
series of operaons will be executed.
