Moving the Device
Moving the Patient on the Bed in Transport Mode
1. Press the button to select Continuous low pressure mode.
The indicator light of the
symbol comes on.
2. Wait until the pressure is perfectly stable and the compressor stops. This
must not take any longer than 5 minutes.
These two steps guarantee that the system deflates in a uniform manner.
3. Switch off the control unit by pressing .
The indicator light of the
symbol
goes out.The Mains power fault audible
indicator sounds and the indicator light comes on.
The others indicator lights are off.
If an electronic module is disconnected when the device is switched on,
the module may be destroyed.
4. Deactivate the Mains power fault audible indicator by pressing (See
“Audible Indicator Silence” page 26).
5. Disconnect the device from the wall outlet.
The device automatically switches to transport mode and remains
inflated.
Never pull on the power cord or you may damage it. A damaged
power cord is an electric shock hazard.
Make sure that the cord does not drag along the floor, do not run
over it when moving the bed frame and take care not to trip over it.
If necessary, use the attachments provided with the device.
6. Safely stow the power cord.
