  If the base plate of your Hilti Power Tool cannot be screwed fully into place, the following reasons may apply: * The piston stopper might be fitted the wrong way round; unscrew the base plate, insert the piston stopper correctly, and screw the base plate on again. * The piston guide could be clogged with dirt behind the connecting thread; clean the piston guide and lubricate the connecting thread.
