4.1 Preparations
(1) Zero adjustment
Before use, adjust the needle of the
galvanometer to the zero point.
Use a small flat-blade screwdriver to turn the
ADJUST control until the needle points at the
center of the
scale.
This must be performed while the measurement
button (
PRESS ON) is not depressed.
(2) Battery check
Perform a battery check to verify that the
batteries are still good. If exhausted, replace
the batteries with fresh ones. (See Section 5.2.)
