1. For safety, disconnect the measurement leads
from the instrument.
2. Remove the fastening screw.
3. Remove the cover of the battery compartment
in direction A, as shown in the illustration.
4. Replace all six batteries with fresh ones.
5. Reattach the cover of the battery compartment
in direction B, as shown in the illustration.
6. Fasten the battery compartment cover to the
instrument with the fastening screw.
