Why is my Hisun HS 500UTV-5/HS Offroad Vehicle engine difficult to start?
    • M
      Mario CarrilloAug 18, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle engine is difficult to start or won't start, there could be several reasons. It might be due to no fuel flow, so check the fuel tank, fuel filter, electric fuel pump, and injector. Also, inspect the ECU. If necessary, replace the filter, electric fuel pump, injector, or ECU. Another cause could be water in the fuel system, so ensure the fuel tank cover is tight. In winter, increased oil viscosity can slow the engine revolution, so use oils with different viscosities suitable for ambient temperatures. Lastly, a weak battery can prevent the engine from turning over quickly enough. Clean the battery cables and terminals, and charge the battery. In cold weather, remove the battery, charge it indoors, and install it only when you're ready to use the vehicle.

What to do if my Hisun Offroad Vehicle engine overheats?
    • S
      stephanie23Aug 21, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle engine overheats, it could be due to several reasons. The engine might be overloaded, so shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. Check the coolant level and fill the cooling system to the correct level, inspecting the radiator and hoses for leaks. Also, check if the motor-driven fan is turning and ensure the fuse is not blown, inspecting the electric system. Remove any trash from the radiator core or grille screens. Finally, if the coolant flow route is corroded, flush the cooling system.

Why does my Hisun Offroad Vehicle have insufficient engine power?
    • D
      Daisy TuckerAug 23, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle engine power is insufficient, it could be due to several reasons. Ensure you have sufficient fuel by checking the fuel system. A clogged injector can also cause this issue, so clean or replace it. If the crankshaft position sensor is bad, replace it. Also, check if the air cleaner is clogged and clean or replace it. A dirty or fouled spark plug can also lead to insufficient power, so clean or replace the spark plug. Lastly, a bad ignition coil can be the culprit, so replace the ignition coil if necessary.

Why is there transmission noise in my Hisun HS 500UTV-5/HS Offroad Vehicle?
    • J
      Jennifer WebbAug 28, 2025
If you experience transmission noise in your Hisun Offroad Vehicle, it could be due to a big matching clearance for the inner and outside gears of the transmission shaft, a big clearance of transmission gears, or a non-good connection of the gear end face. In any of these cases, replace the gears.

    Robin WoodsAug 30, 2025
Why does my Hisun HS 500UTV-5/HS have less power?
    • W
      Willie OrtizAug 31, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle has less vehicle power, check if the parking brake is engaged and loosen the lay-up rod. If there is non-full uncoupling for the disc brake, contact the distributor. Also, if there is CVT transmission sliding, remove the grease for the clutch and replace the CVT transmission belt and the clutch.

What to do if my Hisun Offroad Vehicle has no good brake or noise?
    • A
      Adam HunterSep 2, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle has no good brake or noise, check the braking oil level if there is less brake oil. If there is air inside the braking system, brake discs abrasion, assembling bolt of disc plate loose, or assembling bolt for disc brake clippers loose, contact the distributor or lock tightly the assembling bolts.

    Jamie WareSep 4, 2025
Why is there non agility for gearshift in my Hisun Offroad Vehicle?
    • V
      Veronica OrtegaSep 4, 2025
For non agility for gearshift in your Hisun Offroad Vehicle, it may be due to high idling speed of engine, high rotary speed for clutch connection, non good adjust for gearshift stay wire, or gear abrasion. Replace the throttle cable, throttle petal, or the throttle if the idling speed is too high. Replace the junior clutch spring or the primary clutch if the rotary speed for clutch connection is too high. If the gearshift stay wire is not adjusted well, put the gearshift rod and arm into the 'N' position, adjust the stay wire and bolt, and lock tightly. Replace the gears if there is gear abrasion.

    • B
      brownscottSep 7, 2025
If the terminals of your Hisun Offroad Vehicle battery are severely corroded and heat up, this is likely due to a poor terminal connection. Clean the terminal and tighten it securely.

Why does the battery electrolyte level drop rapidly in my Hisun HS 500UTV-5/HS?
    • B
      Brandon SmithSep 10, 2025
If the battery electrolyte level in your Hisun Offroad Vehicle drops rapidly, it could be due to a crack or pin holes in the electrolytic cells, in which case you should replace the battery. Alternatively, it could be due to charging system trouble, in which case you should consult your local dealer.
