Why is the engine power insufficient in my Hisun HS 1000UTV?
    • J
      Jessica GomezAug 17, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle engine lacks power, several things could be the cause. It could be due to insufficient fuel, so check the fuel system. A clogged injector can also reduce power; clean or replace it. Other potential issues include a spoiled crankshaft position sensor (replace it), a clogged air cleaner (clean or replace it), a dirty or spoiled spark plug (clean or replace it), or a spoiled ignition coil (replace it).

If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle's engine is overheating, it could be due to several reasons. The engine might be overloaded, in which case you should shift to a lower gear or reduce the load. Also, check the coolant level and fill the cooling system if it's low, and inspect the radiator and hoses for leaks. If the motor-driven fan isn't turning, check the fuse and the electrical system. A dirty radiator core or grille screen can also cause overheating, so remove any trash. Finally, a corroded coolant flow route can restrict cooling, so flush the cooling system.

How to troubleshoot starting problems with Hisun HS 1000UTV Offroad Vehicle?
    • F
      fjacksonNov 6, 2025
If your Hisun Offroad Vehicle's engine is hard to start or won't start, several factors could be at play. First, there might be no fuel flow. Check the fuel tank, fuel filter, electric fuel pump, and injector. Inspect the ECU with Motor Scan KF90121. If needed, replace the filter, electric fuel pump, injector, or ECU. Another reason could be water in the fuel system, so verify that the fuel tank cover is tight. In winter, increased oil viscosity can slow engine revolution; consider using oils with different viscosities suited to ambient temperatures. Lastly, a weak battery can prevent the engine from turning over quickly enough. Clean the battery cables and terminals, and charge the battery. In cold weather (-15?), remove the battery, charge it indoors, and install it only when you're read...
