Always read and follow the instructions in the winch owner’s manual before attempting to install or
use a winch.

■Transporting The Vehicle
Pay attention to the following points when transporting the vehicle.
1. Use a suitable truck or trailer. Apply the parking brake and place chocks against the front and
rear tires.
2. Tie the vehicle to the sides of the trailer or truck using suitable tie-downs.
