1. Display the Advanced menu by the
“MENU” button.(If EASY MENU
appears, choose “Go to Advanced
menu” to display ADVANCED MENU.)
2. Select the “OPTION” on the menu.
3. Continue press the button [
] fi rst,
then press the button [ ] together
with “VIDEO”, and hold for 3 seconds.

3. Press the “MAGNIFY OFF” button.
Next hold the “MAGNIFY OFF”

Set operating time display method (accumulated lamp time display method)
1. Select “ OPTION” from the Advanced menu, then place the cursor on the “LAMP TIME”.
2. Press the [ ], [ENTER] or [RESET] button.
3. Press the [Reset] button once, then press [KEYSTONE] button of the remote control for 3 seconds or more to display
the screen shown below. (The menu will close after 10 seconds if there are no further operations.)
4. Use [
] or [ ] to select the usage status number. (The usage status is as shown below.)

2 ..... Usage status before first reset
3 ..... Usage status before second reset

Execute this item to adjust the air sensor.
LAMP ALARM
Select the lamp alarm level. 3 Level ļ 1 Level ļ None
“3 Level” shows three kinds of lamp-messages accord-
ing to the LAMP TIME count.
“1 Level” shows one kind of lamp-message according to
the LAMP TIME count.
“None” shows no lamp-messages. It is the factory
default setting.
STARTUP TYPE
Select the startup screen type.
1 : shows Hitachi Logo 2 : No Hitachi Logo
DIGITAL CONVERGENCE
Adjust horizontal/vertical convergence for R and B color.
BNC TERMINATION
Select the RGB2 (BNC) Terminator. 75 ohm ļ TTL
DIGITAL CONTROL
1:Suitable for computer signals 2:Suitable for DVD signals
PANEL TIME
Use time of LCD panel. Reset the PANEL TIME when-
ever you changed the LCD/LENS prism assembly.
LONG KEY
Projector react only to the key pressing the remote
button for 3 seconds. NORMAL ļ LONG.
When LONG KEY mode is “LONG”, MY BUTTON1
behave as “LONG KEY DISABLE” and MY BUTTON2
behave as “LONG KEY ENABLE”.
SOURCE SKIP DIRECT
ENABLE:React direct key input to which skip is set in
OPTION menu.
DISABLE:Ignore direct key input to which skip is set in
OPTION menu.
LAST MEMORY
ENABLE:Store user settings to EEPROM.
DISABLE:Not store user settings to EEPROM.
FLOW CONTROL TIMEOUT
Switch the TIMEOUT setting when using the daisy chain.
NETWORK RESET
If this is executed, all of the network setting are initialized.
SOFT RESET
If this is executed, all of the user data is initialized.Never
use it when not required.
* when the Advanced/Easy menu is displayed in Arabian or Persian,
the hidden service menu is not available. Change to another language
before this operation.
