5.3.1 Outdoor unit
Compressor protection
The compressor is protected by the following devices and their combinations:
1. Pressure switch: this switch stops the compressor when the discharge pressure exceeds the set value.
2. Oil
heater: this band-type heater protects against the formation of foam on the oil during cold starts and remains enabled
when the compressor is at a standstill.
