・Forthevehicleequippedwiththeboostsolenoidvalve,afterinstallingtheEVC,the
standardmaxboostwillbelowerthantheboostbeforeinstallingtheEVC.
・Inthebelowcases,themaxboostcannotreach250kPa:
(a)Thesetload(spring'sforce)ofthewastagate'svalveoractuatoristoolow.
(b)Theexhaustbackpressureiscreatingaresistance.
・Inthebelowcases,theboostcannotbestabilized:
(a)Wastegate'svalveareaand/oritsstrokeinnotsufficent.Or,theboostcreepor
dropisduetotheactuatorincapacity.
(b)Turboairvolumeisnotsufficentfortheenginedisplacement.Or,theboostcreep
ordropisduetoanincreaseintheexhaustpressure.
Therefore,conditionsandspecificationsofthevehiclemustbeexaminedcarefully
beforeinstallingtheEVC.
