8. STOPPING THE ENGINE (TILLER HANDLE TYPE)

EMERGENCY STOP
Disengage the emergency stop switch
clip from the engine stop switch by
pulling the emergency stop switch lan-
yard.
It is a good idea to stop the engine with
the emergency stop switch lanyard from
time to time to be sure that the switch is
operating properly.
THRO’ITLE GRIP
1. Turn the throttle grip to SLOW
position and move the gearshift lev-
er to N(neutra1).
