Emergency Engine Stop

Disengage the emergency stop switch
clip from the emergency engine stop
switch by pulling the emergency stop
switch lanyard.
It
is a good idea to stop the engine with
the emergency stop switch lanyard from
time to time to be sure that the switch is
operating properly.

1. Move the control lever to the N
(neutral) position and turn the igni-
tion key to the OFF position.

When the boat is not in use, remove
and store the ignition key.
