To shift gears, move the control lever
to select F (forward), N (neutral) and
R (reverse) gears.
The control lever cannot be moved
from the N (neutral) position unless
the neutral release lever is squeezed.
Moving the control lever beyond the
gear selection range increases engine
speed.
Adjust the throttle friction adjuster so
the control lever will hold a constant
throttle setting while cruising.
