CONTROLS
Cooling Water Intake Port
The engine cooling water is drawn
into the engine through this port.
Engine Cover Latch
Latch/unlatch the engine cover latch
to install or remove the engine cover.
Steering Friction Bolt
The steering friction bolt adjusts
steering resistance.
Turn the steering friction bolt
clockwise to increase friction for
holding a steady course while
cruising or to prevent the outboard
motor from swinging while trailering
the boat.
Turn the steering friction bolt
counterclockwise to reduce steering
friction.
