<Engine speed does not increase> <Engine overheats>

1. Fuel line is flattened or
kinked.
(When using the portable fuel
tank.)
Check for excessively
bent or pinched fuel line.
2. Fuel filter is clogged. Replace fuel filter.

3. Engine oil level is low. Check engine oil and
add to specified level.

4. Unmatched propeller is
selected.
Consult with an

outboard motor dealer.
5. Passengers are not
distributed equally.
Distribute the passengers
equally.

Install the outboard
motor in the proper
