When
the
rear
brake
is
applied,
a
red
arrow
(8),
adjacent
to
the
rear
brake
arm

moves
toward
a
red
reference
mark

on
the
rear
brake
backing
plate

The
distance
between
the
arrow
and
the
refer-
ence
mark,
on
fuil
application-of
the
rear
brake,
indicates
brake
lining
thickness.

the
arrow
aligns
with
the
reference
mark
on
full
application
of
the
rear
brake,
the
brake
shoes
should
be
removed
and
inspected
for
wear.
Replace
the
brake
shoes,
if
the
thickness
of
the
lining
is
0.08
in.
(2.0
mm)
or
less.
On
the
CB360
(drum
brake
type),
the
wear
indicator
is
provided
in
both
wheels.
