Troubleshooting
Symptom Probable cause Remedy
The automatic defrost function can be
activated when the ambient temperature is
below the condition temperature. (page 29)
Automatic

is not activated.
The ambient temperature is above the
condition temperature.
Engine does not
stop using the
transmitter.
The engine has been started with the ignition
key.
The transmitter battery is discharged.
The transmitter is operated too far from the
vehicle.
Normal condition.
The engine can only be stopped with the
transmitter if it has been started using the
transmitter. (page 19)
Replace the battery.

Operate the transmitter within the remote
