SERVICING YOUR PUMP
ENGINE OIL CHANGE
Drain the used oil while the engine is warm. Warm oil drains quickly and
completely.
1. Place a suitable container below the engine to catch the used oil, and then
remove the oil filler cap, drain plug, and sealing washer.
2. Allow the used oil to drain completely into an approved container, and then
reinstall the drain plug with a new sealing washer and tighten it securely.
TORQUE: 22.5 N∙m (2.3 kgf∙m, 17 lbf∙ft)
3. With the engine in a level position, fill to the edge of the oil filler hole with the
recommended oil (see page 31).
Maximum oil capacity: WT20X ...........................19 oz (0.58 L)
WT30X/WT40X ...........37 oz (1.1 L)
The Oil Alert system will automatically stop the engine before the oil level falls
below the safe limit. However, to avoid the inconvenience of an unexpected
shutdown, fill to the upper limit, and check the oil level regularly.
Improper disposal of engine oil can be harmful to the environment. If you change
your own oil, please dispose of used motor oil properly. Put it in a sealed container,
and take it a recycling center. Do not throw it in the trash, pour it on the ground, or
pour it down a drain.
4. Screw in the oil filler cap securely.
