SERVICING YOUR PUMP
SEDIMENT CUP CLEANING
1. Move the fuel valve lever to the OFF position, then remove the fuel sediment
cup, O-ring and filter.
2. Wash the sediment cup and filter in non-flammable solvent, and dry it
thoroughly.
3. Place the filter and a new O-ring in the fuel valve, and install the sediment
cup. Tighten the sediment cup securely.
4. Move the fuel valve lever to the ON position, and check for leaks. Replace the
O-ring if there is any leakage.
Gasoline is highly flammable and explosive.
You can be burned or seriously injured
when handling fuel.
• Stop the engine and let it cool before
handling fuel.
• Keep heat, sparks, and flame away.
• Handle fuel only outdoors.
• Keep away from your vehicle.
• Wipe up spills immediately.
