The E-Mon meter has locks for sealing the communication and connection terminals which
requires physical access to the meter. All the terminal sealings must be intact and the terminal
locks on.
The red buttons are designed to lock the terminals and connections, avoid unlocking
them at any time except if necessary.
Terminal sealing 1 and 2 are dedicated slider locks for sealing the connection
terminals.
The Setup lock button is designed for setup configuration sealing. Slide it Up/Down to
lock/unlock the setup.
The setup parameters are locked using the setup sealing button are enlisted in Device
configuration section. Use the sealing button to unlock the parameters for changing the
settings.
9.2.2. Connection and Communication Terminals
The meter connections and configuration terminals use Pozidriv head screws. All the terminal
ports must be sealed using the screws. Special care shall be taken to ensure the tightening of
used as well as unused terminals.
All terminals must be secured using Pozidriv no. 1 screwdriver, 13 2.5 mm
2
with a
tightening torque of 0.8 Nm
The used unused terminals shall be sealed with the Pozidriv head screws.
Physical access to the terminals and cables is restricted.
All the cables shall be routed through ducts to secure the integrity of the network and
the E-Mon meter.
