Wall or flat surface mounting
When wall mounting the FDAP Gen3 and FDAP Gen3 Anchor, you can assemble and
install the mounting hardware at the site. The mounting kit includes the following items:
1. Mounting plate
2. Screws (to attach the FDAP Gen3 and FDAP Gen3 Anchor to the mounting plate)
3. Washers (split lock washer, flat lock washer)
Both mounting plates fasten to four threaded bosses on the back of the FDAP Gen3 and
FDAP Gen3 Anchor. The FDAP Gen3 and FDAP Gen3 Anchor should not be mounted on
metallic walls because the integral antennas are too close to the wall and may cause RF
propagation problems.
