5. Go to Registering/Finding an IP Camera on page 42 to add the IP camera to the channel
you designated as IP.
Registering/Finding an IP Camera
Note You must first designate channels as IP (rather than BNC or UTP), apply that IP
designation, and reboot the DVR before you can see the REGISTRATION tab.
See Designating a Channel as IP on page 41.
To register an IP camera
1. Click Setup CAMERA REGISTRATION to open the Registration interface.

2. Either click Device Search to automatically find IP cameras.
TIP! Select IPC in the Display Filter to see only IP cameras.
a. Click to select a found IP camera.
b. Click Add to add the found IP camera to the Added Device list.
Note If the DVR fails to display the model name of a found IP camera, click Device
Search to rediscover the online IP cameras. The model name should appear in
the Device list.
OR
Click Manual Add to manually add an IP camera.
