Apply Full Screen Display
• Most apps installed on your phone will automatically adapt to display correctly in full
screen.
• For apps that don't, go to Settings > Display & brightness > More display settings >
Full-Screen Display, and toggle on their switches. Enabling Full-Screen Display may
cause some apps to display incorrectly, for instance, by being improperly stretched.
Set the display area at the top of the screen
1 Go to Settings > Display & brightness > More display settings > Display Cutout.
2 To set the top area for a  app, select the app and set how the top area is
displayed.
• Auto
• Show cutout
• Hide cutout
Sounds
Adjust Sound Settings
Press a Volume Button to Adjust the Volume
Press the Volume up or down button to adjust the volume.
Switch Sound Mode Via Control Center

Swipe down from the top right of the screen to open the Control Center.
2 Tap Sound, Silent, or Vibration to switch between  sound modes.
In the ring mode, the phone plays all sounds.
In the silent mode, the phone mutes ringtones of calls, messages,  and some
 app reminders. Alarms, communication, music, video, and games are not

In the vibration mode, the phone is muted and vibrates instead, which can prevent you
from missing  calls or messages.
You can also go to Settings > Sounds & vibration to switch between Sound, Vibration, and
Silent.
Set the Default Volume
Go to Settings > Sounds & vibration, and you can then set the volume for the following
