Transfer Data Between Your Phone and Computer with a USB Cable
1 Connect your phone to a computer with a USB cable. After the driver is automatically
installed on the computer, the drive name corresponding to your phone will be
displayed.
2 On your phone, swipe down from the top middle or left of the screen to open the
Center, go to Touch for more options, and select a USB connection mode
to transfer data.
• Transfer photos: Use the Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP) to transfer photos between
your phone and computer. In the new drive displayed on the computer, you can view
photos stored on your phone, or copy and paste photos between the device and
computer.
• Transfer / Android Auto: Use the Media Transfer Protocol (MTP) to transfer
between your phone and computer. In the new drive displayed on the computer, you
can view stored on your phone, or copy and paste between the device and
computer.
Install Windows Media Player 11 or later on your computer to view media on your
phone.
• Input MIDI: Use your phone as the audio input device of the Musical Instrument
Digital (MIDI) and play music on your computer.

Show Date and Time When the Screen Is
With Always On Display enabled, the lock screen will show the date, time, and more when
the screen is
Enable Always On Display
1 Go to Settings > Home screen & style > Always On Display, and enable Always On
Display.
2 Set Display mode as prompted.
Always On Display Settings
Go to Settings > Home screen & style > Always On Display. Under mode,
select Full screen or screen.
• When Full screen is selected, tap Display mode, and you have the options to set Tap to
show, Scheduled, or All day.
• When screen is selected, tap Display mode and select Tap to show, Scheduled,
or All day.
