Photography Basics
Launch Camera
are multiple ways to open the Camera app.
From the Home Screen
From the home screen, open Camera.
From the Lock Screen
When the screen is locked, turn on the screen, then swipe up on the camera icon in the
lower right corner to open the camera.
Open Camera Quickly When the Screen is
To quickly open the Camera when the screen is or locked, there’s no need to unlock the
screen. Just aim the camera at the subject and quickly press the Volume down button or
the Power button twice to launch the Camera or capture a photo instantly.
1 Go to Camera >
> Quick Launch and select Launch Camera only or Launch
Camera & take photo in Double tap Volume Down button when screen is or Double
tap power button mode.

Adjust Camera Settings
You can adjust the camera settings to take photos and videos more quickly.
following features may not be available in some camera modes.
Quick Access to Frequently Used Functions
To quickly access frequently used functions, go to the shooting preview screen that
displays shooting modes (e.g., PORTRAIT, PHOTO), and you can set your frequently used
parameters in the quick operation area.
Take PHOTO mode as an example:
1 Go to Camera and select the PHOTO mode.
2 Tap
, and expand the quick operation area.
3 You can quickly set Ratio of the photo, turn on Flash, and more. You can also tap to
set more parameters.
