Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 26).
2. Remove the following components:
a. Bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 27)
b. Battery (see Battery on page 29)
c. Hard drive (see Hard drive on page 33)
d. Solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 35)
e. WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 36)
f. Memory modules (see Memory on page 31)
g. Fan (see Fan on page 41)
Remove the system board:
IMPORTANT: Make special note of each screw size and location during removal and replacement
1. Disconnect the following cables from the system board:
(1): Hard drive cable
(2): Display cable
