The MFP 586 series enables you to scan
stacks of paper files fast—up to 44/40 ipm,
black/colour (586dn/f) and up to 70 ipm,
black and colour (586z)

scanning that captures both sides of the page
at once. With the ADF, you can automatically:
• Detect and remove blank pages from
scanned documents, reducing file size
• Deskew sheets that are not inserted quite
straight
• Determine the best output format and
exposure for the data content
• Classify input original as either colour or
non‑colour
Job build allows you to scan additional items
on the glass and insert them into the scanned
file wherever you decide—before hitting
“Send.”
