General Timing Information
Previous examples have used the internal measurement trigger and the internal pulse
generator to demonstrate basic operation of the network analyzer. This setup is suitable for
many applications in which the internal PRP and maximum duty cycle limitations are not
critical to measurement results. If your device is sensitive to pulse rep etition p erio d or duty
cycle you will need to learn more ab out how these are aected by the instrument state. The
following paragraphs provide information that can be used to predict the internal PRP for
dierent instrument states.
