3. Disconnect the touchpad antenna cable from the ZIF connector (3) on the bottom of the NFC
module.
4. Remove the NFC module (4) from the computer. The module is secured with adhesive.
To install the NFC module, reverse this procedure.
Touchpad
To remove the touchpad, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the touchpad, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 37).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 48).
Remove the touchpad:
1. Disconnect the backlight cable from system board connector (1) and remove it from touchpad.
2. Disconnect the system board cable from the ZIF connector (2) on the touchpad.
3. Disconnect the cable from the ZIF connector (3) on the NFC module (select products only).
4. Remove the seven Phillips M1.6 × 2.0 screws (4) that secure the touchpad to the computer.
