3. Remove the card reader board (3).
To install the smart card reader, reverse this procedure.
Audio jack
To remove the audio jack, use this procedure and illustration.

Before removing the audio jack, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 37).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 37).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 48).
Remove the audio jack:
1. Disconnect the audio jack cable from the USB board ZIF connector (1).
2. Remove the Phillips 2.0 × 4.0 screw (2) that secures the audio jack to the computer.
