Before removing the solid-state drive, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 30).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
Remove the solid-state drive:
1. Lift the EMI shield that covers the solid-state drive.
TIP: Clips on the system board secure the EMI shield. When installing the shield, be sure to insert the
shield into the clips.
