Power button board (includes holder and cable) L56451-001
Before removing the power button board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 42).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
4. Remove the system board (see System board on page 53).
Remove the power button board:
1. Lift the power button board holder straight up and out of the computer (1).
TIP: Be sure to note the orientation of the power button board holder so you can replace it correctly
when installing the power button board.
2. Lift the power button board and cable straight up and out of the computer (2).
Reverse this procedure to install the power button board.
