System board
All system boards use the following part numbers:
xxxxxx-001: Non-Windows operating system
xxxxxx-601: Windows 10 operating system

Before removing the system board, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (Preparation for disassembly on page 42).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 31).
3. Remove the battery (see Battery on page 33).
4. Remove the memory module EMI cover (see Memory module on page 40).
When replacing the system board, be sure to remove the following components (as applicable) from
the defective system board and install them on the replacement system board:
● Memory modules (see Memory module on page 40)
● WLAN module (see WLAN module on page 34)
● WWAN module (see WWAN module on page 36)
● Solid-state drive (see Solid-state drive on page 38)
● Heat sink (see Heat sink on page 51)
● Fan (see Fan on page 50)
Remove the system board:
1. Disconnect the following cables and the SIM card holder from the system board:
(1) Webcam cable
(2) WLAN module antenna cables
(3) Speaker cable
(4) WWAN module antenna cables
(5) Display cable
(6) Power button board cable
(7) Card reader board cable (ZIF)
