Reverse this procedure to install the solid-state drive.
Memory module
To remove the memory module, use this procedure and illustrations.

Before removing the memory module, follow these steps:
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly (see Preparation for disassembly on page 29).
2. Remove the bottom cover (see Bottom cover on page 29).
3. Disconnect the battery cable from the system board (see Battery on page 31).
Remove the memory module:
1. Detach the grounding tape (1) that secures the memory module shield to the heat sink.
2. Remove the memory module shied (2).
NOTE: When installing the memory module shield, be sure that the edges of the shield t securely into the
clips (3) built onto the system board.
The memory module shield is not available as a spare part component.
